The long-awaited ProWein 2022 is about to begin

ProWein returns from the 15th to the 17th of May with some updates.

After a gap of two years insiders are buzzing: over 5,500 exhibitors from 60 countries around the world are expected to attend, with international brands, importers, exporters, selected winemakers and many others, along with an endless selection of labels.

In Halls 15 and 16 one can take a trip through a broad selection of “l’Italia del Vino”, from Tuscany to Liguria, Piemonte to Lombardy, all the way to Sicily. From Chianti Classico, Querceto and Ricasoli | Castello di Brolio, Bertinga from Gaiole in Chianti, the special projects of the Marchesi Mazzei – Siepi and Ipsus – from Castellina in Chianti, Tenuta di Ghizzano from Terre di Pisa, Tenuta Luce from Montalcino, Ornellaia from Bolgheri, Tenuta di Trinoro from Val d’Orcia, and Fattoria Le Pupille from the Maremma. One will have the chance to taste Ligurian wines from Lvnae as well as the Oltrepò examples of Conte Vistarino. Interpretations of Piemonte will be presented by Pio Cesare and Poderi Luigi Einaudi, and Passopisiciaro and Tasca d’Almerita will be there from Sicily.

2022’s much anticipated edition is not short of new developments such as the inauguration of Hall 1, reserved for German producers. Amongst them are prestigious names such as Weingüter Wegeler, whose story intertwines with that of Riesling from the Rheingau and the Moselle.

All that remains is to show up in Düsseldorf for tastings and international meetings that can finally take place in person!
