2022: despite a flexible calendar, everyone is ready for the major wine events

In France, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris dates have been confirmed for 14-16 February. Gambero Rosso’s “Tre Bicchieri Experience will also go ahead as planned on 15 February in the French capital.

In Germany, ProWein fair in Düsseldorf, originally set for March, has been moved to 15-17 May. For now, the 54th edition of Vinitaly is still expected to take place from 10-13 April in Verona.

With regard to Italian events, from North to South:

In Piemonte, Anteprima Grandi Langhe has been postponed until 4-5 April 2022 by the Consorzio di Tutela del Barolo e del Barbaresco.

The dates for Anteprima Amarone have also changed, it will now take place in June.

The Anteprime di Toscana have been postponed and will run from 19-25 of March (in this order: Prima Anteprima, Chianti Lovers, Chianti Classico Collection, Vernaccia, Vino Nobile e L’Altra Toscana).

Sicilia en Primeur will be held in Palermo from 27 April-1 May, while the “Contrade dell’Etna” event (dedicated this year to its founder, the late Andrea Franchetti) has been announced for 2-4 April at the Picciolo Etna Golf Hotel in Castiglione di Sicilia.

Benvenuto Brunello remains in the agenda for November.
